Job Purpose: To lead and manage the NSS (National Service Scheme) and NCC (National Cadet Corps) activities in the school, instilling values of discipline, leadership, patriotism, and social responsibility among students. Key Responsibilities :For NSS: Organize and supervise NSS camps, activities, and events as per the NSS calendar. Promote student participation in community service, cleanliness drives, awareness programs, etc. Maintain proper documentation and reports of all NSS activities. Liaise with local NSS cell/college/university officials for program implementation and reporting. Encourage leadership, civic responsibility, and volunteerism in students. Coordinate with parents, school management, and external bodies for various programs. Promote awareness of both programs within the school to increase student participation. Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all off-campus activities. Take part in staff meetings, training sessions, and school functions. Required Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate degree in any discipline (Preference: Physical Education / Social Work / Defence Studies). NCC "C" Certificate holder preferred (for NCC role). NSS Program Officer certification preferred (for NSS role). Prior experience in leading student groups or similar activities is desirable.
